14A - Halfway Reflection

1.     In order to complete this course and to get the most out of your experience within this class, I believe there are a variety of different behaviors that the student must utilize. It is important to be organized and efficient with the assignments. I would suggest that taking your time with the assignments and with thinking about ideas is very important. You do not want to take the easy way out and give 50% effort that results in the class being more difficult down the ride. If you give the time to the course at the beginning of the class and begin to hone the skills that the assignments try to bring out of you then the rest of the class will be much easier.
2.     I really felt like giving up when I was attempting to think about my “Bug List”. It was very difficult to identify 20 bugs of mine. This assignment specifically required me to think in a different manner than I am used to. I wanted to give up but powered through it and I believe it allowed me to realize a different type of thinking that I possess that I previously did not realize.
3.     Tips for Future Students
a.     Give the class the time that it deserves.
b.     Do not give up because it is difficult. Entrepreneurship is a very difficult road and the earlier you learn how to handle tough situations the better off you are for your future aspirations.
c.     Be organized and efficient with the work you are producing to get the most out of the course.

  1. Matt,

I totally agree with your point on the importance of staying organized. To help me stay organized I have started using a planner, which has helped a lot. The bug list was also an assignment I found surprisingly difficult. Hope you have a great second half of the semester, I look forward to reading more of your posts.
