28A - Your Exit Strategy

1)    For my exit strategy, I intend to not be on the management end of the application for very long. Depending on the success of the app, I would like to sell the software as quickly as possible and move on with my life.
2)    The reasoning for picking this exit strategy is because this is not something that I am passionate about at all. I do not want to be in this field and truly do not have an interest in the type of service I would be providing. This would be something that I did to address a need that I and others have had but not something that I want to be providing long term. It would be a quick entry and exit strategy.
3)    I don’t believe that my exit strategy has influenced the decisions that have been made throughout the creation of my venture concept thus far. I think that right about now I should start making decisions based off my desired exit strategy but prior to this, it was important to develop a full venture concept to pitch it to future investors. I have successfully identified the growth opportunities that the application provides and believe that future investors could have great success in leading it towards the growth I have recognized.

  1. Matt, you stated that you have no passion for the industry you are in, and with that in mind I feel that your decision to leave is the best option. You gained a lot of experience from the app and hopefully you will take that experience and put it to use towards something you are passionate about and would feel prideful to work in. Also worth noting that the growth you have felt since starting this venture is such a positive takeaway from being an entrepreneur.
